Sheep's sorrel leafmine

Ever since purchasing the micro-moth "bible", I've wanted to find this extremely distinctive leaf-mine created by Enteucha acetosae, illustrated on the front cover. Well second sheep's sorrel leaf checked found this! Beginners luck or common? Quite likely new for NWT Holme and patch.

Off patch - Lyme Regis

Bithynian vetch - it's always lovely to bump into the unexpected, today was such a day. While climbing the steep steps at the west end of the Lyme Regis gardens my eye was caught by this vetch, a plant I was hoping to see later in the week at Portland. Great finding such a scarce plant.

Off patch Tiger Beetle and Stinkhorn

We had a walk at Syderstone Common this morning, no rain after 2 days heavy rain. One of the group did very well to spot a Green Tiger Beetle, very well camouflaged. (Photos taken with mobile phone!)
Can you spot it?

Also lots of Common Stinkhorns on the site, though most had lost their mucus covering.
