Fighting Pheasants

When arriving at Holme Dunes on Monday I came across these two cock pheasants having a face-off on the track. They were so engrossed with each other that they didn't move for the car. Unfortunately I had to take photos through the car windscreen.
There were small groups of swallows flying west through the reserve during the afternoon.
