Wednesday 16th April

Fairly quiet on the cliffs this morning (see below) but the Yellow Wagtails and a Lesser Whitethroat singing in a cliff top bush were new for me for 2014. A lunch-time cycle ride round Lover's Lane/Old Hunstanton produced at least 4 more Lesser Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps but no other singing migrants and a good haul of Butterflies including my first Orange Tips (3), Small White (2), Holly Blue (1) and at least 10 Peacocks, 2 Small Tortoiseshell and a Comma.
