The 'Patch' is essentially the three parishes of Hunstanton, Old Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea. Its landward boundary follows the boundaries of these parishes and to seaward, we 'claim' all we can see. We've added a strip of land to the east, from the Holme parish boundary to the Thornham Channel, as this is an important access point for us, we go there a lot, its the boundary of the NNR and it makes geographic sense. We've also added a thin strip of land in Ringstead Parish which we routinely walk to gain access to the eastern end of Ringstead Downs, most of which is actually in Old Hunstanton parish.
